Absolutely! I love to make up words! What a great question. My son's and I have made up dozens. One of my favorites is:
Scamworthy: Is someone scamworthy? or would trying to scam or out smart them be too much trouble and not a big enough challenge.

Yeah I make them up all the time, for how I'm feeling or if I forget a word I make up a new one.
Squingocky is my favourite, it's how I'm feeling now, all hot and bothered, but still happy.

"Discombuberated" (dis-come-boo-ber-ra-ted) When something is askew, not at all right, a mess, confused. "I'm all discombuberated!"
"Instrals" - this was a word used by my late grandmother. She practically had a whole vocabulary of words that were strictly her own. She had us laughing all the time! (Instead of saying utensils for eating, or if you needed a fork, she'd ask if you needed any "instrals")
"Love-apples" meant love handles.
BTW...Great question!

My sister and I made up a word, years ago.
It is "desposition." [dess poe zish un] The root word is "despise."
We would say, "Ever since he behaved that way at the party, he is the object of my desposition."
"Why is she the object of your desposition?"
:-))

Yes, I do, but I can't remember them most of the time, my sisters both do too. :)
I did make up a name for my invisible friend, her name's Jessifer. :)
(Yes, I know I'm too old for an invisible friend, but if I tell her anything, she won't tell anyone else!)
