call a cobbler. they might be able to take it in some at the stitching.

Water will help it shrink, but could really ruin the shoes. Take it to a cobbler (like mentioned above) because they will know what they are doing, and won't ruin the leather.

You could always wear them in a hot shower or hot tub for a little bit, then wear them until dry. They'll shrink some , but you'll never know without giving it a shot.

I had a pair of expensive Dr. Martens that my friend stretched out. I got them slightly wet and then wore them until they dried. They re-conformed to my foot shape and were fine! Hope it works for you.
