Not at all. It's your hard-earned money and may the best manufacturer win. Around my way, we refer to the as HarDleys because they hardly do anything but make noise and leak oil. Also, HarDley owners should be insulted, as their bike prices have gone through the roof because it no longer has an "outlaw" stigma attached. CEO's, old retired men/women and celebrity personalities putt around on them as a status symbol...how ridiculous. If I want to putt, I'll get a moped. I prefer riding, not rattling.

You would have to have a Harley to understand. All Jap bikes look a like and go way down in value year after year, Its like pissing your money away. I rode my last harley for 5 years and sold it for a little more than it cost new. Then I Purchased a new Harley and in 4 to 5 years i hope to do the same. Japanese bikes are very good machines. Its just that I Perfer Harleys

I have a Jap bike. I can say when I go on rides and go to bike rally's I see more Harley broke down on the road than I do any other bike. The Yamaha, Suzuki, And Kawasaki bikes I hardly ever see broke down Cruisers or sportbikes. Harleys do hold there value better for some weird reason.

Communist? Because you don't like a bike?
Hating Harleys doesn't make you a communist it makes you smart!
Japanese bikes are awesome like the Honda Fireblade or the Kawasaki Ninja. A Japanese manufacturer also made the worlds fastest production bike, the Yoshimura Hayabusa.
Although Japanese bikes are cool i've got to go with the Italian made Ducati. Those bikes shift! The 999S Monoposto is mind blowing, if you stand behind one and the rider revs the engine it blows your hair back!

Nope. Harleys have a lot of mechanical problems, so they are great for people who like to FIX bikes. If you like to RIDE bikes, there's no problem with riding another make. Besides, the bike that's considered to be the best-looking is a Ducati (an Italian bike). So foreign is no problem.

My Jap bike was made in Ohio. Its has 147,000 trouble free miles and can smoke Harleys all day long. My wife commutes on a Honda and my son rides a Yamaha.
We are not communists, just discerning .'
Harleys are very stylish and , well, very stylish.

You ride a little 22 year old yamahahaha which is probably older than you and believe it to be fast and sweet. If you ever grow up and get a chance to ride a real motorcycle your limited warped opinion of Harleys will change.

Not at all. I'm with you. Harley just doesn't make a product I want or ever will want.
Until someone is willing to buy a bike for me, they have no say about what I ride.

Japanese manufacturers sometimes also make cruisers. What you are really saying is you like sport bikes. Harley Davidson makes a sport bike, it's called a Buell and they look killer. You could also look at European sport bikes (Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Husqvarna, KTM).
Go Italian bro. Get a Ducati.
