Damn, that's messed up. Did you take the baby after the wife went missing? So is this baby 6 years old? Or is this a new baby? If you love the first wife more than the second, you have to go back to the first. If things are good with the second, then it'd be better to stay with the second and make a choice about the child. Does the child stay with you and get to know mom again and eventually live with mom or does the child stay with you since she's been with you all along and mom gets time with the child. LIfe demands so many complications.

That means that if you give up on your first wife since she went into a coma or goes missing, you didn't love her too much. Why would you f*ck someone else and start a family when your wife is missing and you have no idea what happened to her or because she goes into a coma your the one that needs to find someone. As if she or her family doesn't need or deserve you. I hope your hypothetical doesn't happen, I'd hate to know that either of your wives was a burden because they ended up missing or in a coma.
Hope it doesn't happen to your kid, just chunk 'em and get a new one.
Hope you didn't make her go mysteriously missing or go into a sudden coma, since it was no fault of her own........

There is a movie like this except the coma was for 20 years. I would pick the one who I have a better marriage with. Probably the old one out of love...just don't marry the new one.

If she went into a comma, she will come back as an exclamation point.

wow, i thought i had problems. you can't be expected to wait for her forever, you know the saying "life goes on". watch that movie with tom hanks about him being stranded for a long time and then being rescued. it might help. cant remember the title but the movie was ok.
