Your gonna have to straight out ask him and tell him to be honest when he answers. If he loves you he will answer without much difficulty but if he gets mad, upset, or blows your question off then is trying to avoid the issue of his ex because there is something there for her. Trust your gut instinct when you talk to him. Good luck!!!

Well if he gets offensive when you mentions her that's one way you could tell but he could also be getting offensive because she hurt him when they were previously dating. Another way you can tell if he still in love with his ex is if he always talk about her...And if you really need to know you should ask him a relationship isn't really a relationship if you cannot trust each other and you can't communicate...So instead of trying to find the answers from others around the world I think you should ask him.

asking him won't help because he will just deny it anyway. if he talks about her a lot, even if it is negative, that's always a good way to tell. It means he is still hung up on her and is bitter about not being with her. If he still checks her out and stuff too, that's also a good way to tell.

If he bumps into her, talks about her, or talks to her a lot. He is probably still in love.
And if he ask you to wear a wig that is her hair color, you better believe he still is.

Sounds like you are fishing for evidence to try to make him feel guilty about how he feels and perhaps make him feel more obligated to feel like he has to explain himself to you....I hope you are not one of those controling girls/women who riddles her man with Fear, Obligation, and Guilt ....aka (to put him in the FOG so he can't see what you are up to).
You should be asking...how do you know if you boyfriend really loves YOU! Instead of looking fro ways to charge, try and convict you should be looking for reasons to love honour and cherish.

I'm sure he gave you a reason to think that. right? so why does he act the way that it make you worried? so there is something going on. you better open your eyes before you get crushed.
he might not be in love with her but of course he can have physical desire toward her, if they had sexual relationship before.

girls have this strong sixth sense when it comes to men.u can somehow feel things r not that lovely ven ur bf still luvs his ex.if he's shying away from u,unintensionally he talks bout her all i can say is u can feel the wrong vibrations its better to straight away talk but with a cool head

Try to get him in the same place with her if he start to act strange around her you know something is going on. Also it depends on how long they broke up because if it's fresh then there is bound to be something but i it's long then you are in trouble. Good luck
