1- go to control panel, then to add/remove programs and check if the toolbar name is listed there and try to remove it...
2- if that doesn´t work ( very probable) try to install windows defender from microsoft website, this one is very strong up to date anti-spyware tool, I GUESS it will be effecient.
3-yet, in case step 2 is not enough, try to go to C folder and then to PROGRAM FILES and look for the folder with the toolbar name and try to delete it. sometime you have to rename the folder before you can delete it...
I am almost sure that step 2 will be very sufficient to remove it; yet, to insure the aximum security of your computer try :
- to check if the windows firewall is enabled
- you have to firewall the internet connection, you can do it by opening internet connection ( ex local area network or wireless network) then left mouse button click on the network icon and go to properties then click on ADVANCED , on the top you will have windows firewall, you have to click on settings and then select ON ( reccomended)... :)
I hope these steps will help you get rid of the spyware trouble.
good luck

If the remove/add programs.cpl doesn't work try a spyware remover. I have never had this problem mainly because I always have my system protected against these things.
You also MUST always check s/w before installing as a lot of the stuff on the I/net has that crap on/in it.

if you have a spyware problem, then you definetely need some professional help, fortunately companies like microsoft and symantec are aiding for free all computer users, since this spyware problem is actually doing so much harm to their business that most large companies like ibm and microsoft are teaming up to try to eradicate this problem.
I suggest you find a complete resource against spyware with free distributable programs, one such resource could be found here:
to completely protect yourself go to:
http://umgarticles.atspace.com/spyware.htm
give it a look.

Whatever it tells you is spyware and adware, eliminate. You will have to filter out your cookies periodically besides, and except you wish a toolbar established (e.g. google toolbar, yahoo toolbar, and so forth) eliminate it.

lol tat really suks well heres a way to get rid of it go to www.download.com and download ad-aware se, and download zonealarm from www.zonealarm.com so after you run some scans from ad-aware it deletes your set to go and then after with the download of zonealarm it will automatically block spyware sites so your good and with its 3layer firewall has more enchanched protection and plus it was just released about a week ago so you'll be alot safe when you know that zone alarm is protecting you! best of luck (zone alarm also comes with anti-spyware and anti-virus, the virus one anit so good but the anti-spyware rocks!)

I recommend going to "start, settings, then control panal, then to add and remove programs. Find the tool bar you wish to remove and remove it. Most tool bars will be in there. If not, you will have to go the the tool bars site and see how to remove it.
