Hooking up with a family member that you know is a family member is kind of questionable. With all the people in the world - why pick a family member? Legally speaking I don't think there is anything wrong with it because you are related but not close relation. Morally speaking there is a lot wrong with it - even if it's supposed to be a one time thing.

If you have to ask then you know deep down inside that something must be wrong with it. Find someone else to have sex with. That's selfish and shows no self-control on your part. Just one time?!why even bother?! You have some issues that you need to work out. What if the one time leads to pregnancy or even worse STD or AIDS. Be careful. People like you scare me, just perpetuating the de-moralization of this world!! GROSS!!!!

If your asking this for yourself then just think of it this way what would you tell your friend(s) if they asked you if it was alright. Not only that but if you and your 6th cousin think its alright and feel comfortable doing it then hey its ok with me!

If u have emotional attachement for that person and ready to share joys n sorrows throughout life then physical attachment is ok............else sounds weired

That's really distantly related; in fact, good job on the genealogy in your family for even knowing you were related. I'm sure I have sixth cousins I don't even know about. I think you should be okay.

it's ok pretty much the blood-line is more diluted and besides alot of people might have already been with a distant cousin and didn't even know it
