First of all, Fiesta is not made in America. The fiesta is made in Japan, Brazil, Mexico, and a few other countries. The Geo Metro is Japanese, as well as the Chevy Sprint. The closest thing I can come up with is the Dodge Omni.

The 1980s Plymouth Horizon and Dodge Omni closely resemble the Yugo/Zastava, the latter of which is an earlier design based on the Fiat 128.

as i recall the [u.s.] ford feista from the late 70's early 80's was built in cologne west germany and called the[ taunus?] over there.
and it did look simular to yugo but it handled well and was pretty quick for its time. the dodge omni was realy a poor clone of the volkswagon rabbit/golf.
