YES> You can get thrush, you can get sepsis, and it can lead to other infections. Even E-Coli has been found in over active yeast infections. If you get a yeast infection, treat it and get rid of it.

Any infection can be lethal by the way. The key word is INFECTION.

Actually, if you leave it long enough, a yeast infection can become deadly because the yeast will travel up into your body and then it will become a disease called thrush, which will appear on your tongue as well as down below. If thrush is left untreated, it can kill you. Although thrush can be killed with antibiotics, i believe once you get it, it can reoccur and is hard to get rid of completly.

not if treated. you should seek medical attention, especially if this is your first one. it could be something that is really nothing, or it can be a sign that there is something really wrong up there and it has traveled downward. i would mess around with it. good luck.
