I have a Shanghai Mommy diaper bag that I love but the changing pad and the inside of the bag smell. It's not a bad smell..and I think it is either the plastic liner or the silk fabric. I have handwashed a few times and the smell is still there. It wouldn't be a big deal but everything that I put in it comes out smelling like the bag. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Any suggestions on getting the odor out?

Thanks for your help!

Try putting a fabric softener sheet in it, leave it in a few days and change for a fresh one. Do this until bad smell is gone and bag smells fresh. Then keep one in bag for continuing fresh smell.

you probably just need to use it for a while and the smell will work itself out. Hmm, maybe put a car air freshener in there or something lol I know it sounds weird but it will probably keep your stuff from smelling like the bag. You could also try febreeze on the fabric part.
