TEll them you want to do something in person and make a date. Don't call all the time, that causes awkward silence, or find a book, like things to talk about, that will give you something to talk about. I'll bet there's even an online site if you look for it. talk about commercials or tv shows or movies or songs, the playoffs or that wild play from the catch the kid made in Texas that made EXTRA. But, don't talk too much about feelings, That's a girl thing, but it makes guys really uncomfortable.

Um not a "telephone person" , maybe your boyfriend isn't either. If you're old enough to have a boyfriend--maybe you all can go to the movies, he can come visit, you can visit him, there must be something to do in your city.Something that doesn't require money. Take walks in park, by the lake. You gotta use your imagination or just hang up when you feel like the conversation is over.Sometimes the conversation is just over!! Hang up.

lol do no longer something... awkward silences are component of relationships and persons provide out the misperception that they do no longer seem to be meant to be. you're unlikely to comprehend what to assert continually, yet once you do stumble upon a clumsy silence i continually discover something that person likes to talk approximately and basically bait on that..

You should make notes during the day about stuff you see or read or think about that you want to tell him. That always worked for me during the early part of a long-distance relationship. After a while, you'll be able to do this without notes.

After the first hald hour, just say goodbye, and hang up. If you're on the phone that long and can't think of anything to say, you're just running up your friends phone bills anyway.

ask how there day went, tell them about yours. ask about there interest, such as a favorite sports team or music group. did anything new happen since the last time we talked. watch the news and bring up things that are happening in your area. ask about their families, tell them about yours, you can do that with pets also.

There are cool websites full of hypothetical questions, just do a search. They usually start up good conversations.
