Ignore the uninformed hearsay from the "expert" here. Parts are plentiful, and are available here in the USA.

Yeah, go for that one that has "2 boxes of parts". No word on what said parts are, but it's probably all that's left from another car that went to the crusher, all the parts that didn't go bad.

Foolish move. If you found one working it won't be for long. Trying to fix one would be more expensive then fixing a BMW. You would have to import the parts needed. If you really want one they can be had in Europe, specifically Prauga.
