Sandra Bullock would be great as Stephanie, except it might be too much like "Miss Congeniality" ....I'd like to see what Jessica Alba does with it. Do NOT under any circumstances let Jennifer Lopez near this role! (You know she'd want it)
Morelli --Nathan Fillion from Serenity. He can definitely do reformed bad boy.
Ranger -- Benicio del Toro. He's got that mysterious, man-of-few-words quality. Scary AND sexy.
Grandma Mazur--Amy Sedaris from Strangers with Candy. She cracks me up!
Lula--Kim Coles, I last saw her in Celebrity Fit Club. You know she'd do neon spandex tube dresses justice!
Just for kicks, I cast the same roles using only characters from Lost:

Ranger has to be someone who is hot but unattachable....hmm...like a Colin Farrell type...Morelli has to be a good guy...someone that you just want to root for...like a Matthew McConaughey...
