i see where south carolina is trying to make a second offense of rape of a child under 11 executionable personally i say the first offense should be if it is with a minor and the second offense with an adult because although most rape charges are legit there are those that are questionable and it is to easy to say rough sex was rape because a lot of the physical evidence is the same anyone who hurts a child deserves to die

No. Rape is without question a horrendous offense. However if the person in question can be rehabilitated, then they should be given the opportunity to continue their lives. What they have done has undoubtedly effected the victom of their crime and the damage will never be un-done, but a person who makes a mistake should be given a chance to rehabilitate themselves.
A serial rapist on the other hand should be punished to the full extent of the law. Once someone has shown that they can not function in normal society, especially after given a second chance, then we should be dicussing execution.

In some cases, I think it should, but we have a silly little thing called the Constitution that won't allow it. The states that are passing laws allowing it will, unfortunately, find out once the Supreme Court deals with it.

Yes it should. In fact, any type of rape should be an executable offense.

In some countries it is. In the USA people are reluctant to take away a person's life if his victim is still alive. It's hard enough to get the death penalty in capital murder.

I feel it should be however legally, it is not an executionary offense. The people need to get the leguslators that they voted in to change the law...... or.... vote them out.
Simple matter.
