I suppose it depends on what area of life you're talking about. Can you be more specific? By the third time I'm usually pretty frustrated, but it just depends on what the situation is, how many people are looking on, and how big the consequences of failure are. I started getting worried about three.

Usually I try to make it only once and learn from them....but unfortunately when it comes to some important issues from the heart I make them over and over again....why, I guess I'm a sucker for punishment :)

Hopefully we learn from our mistakes. If we pay attention to what we're doing, it shouldn't have to happen more than once.
