Not particularly, but don't overdo it. Too much aspirin isn't good. Ice packs will probably give you better relief anyway.

yes! hydrocodone has aspirin in it as well. you best form of relieving your arthritic knee is as follows: the hydrocodone will relieve your pain but, if the inflamation is causing you discomfort as well, then taking a200mg. ibuprofen along with a dose of hydrocodone is okay. ibuprofen relieves the inflamation while the hydrocodone will relieveyour pain. elevating your knee and using ice and heat will help keep the swelling down (ice first) then you can use heat to aid in relieving your discomfort. please be careful with the hydrocodone, while it is an effective pain reliever, it can be very addicting and i don't wish that on anyone!!! take care and relax.

Instead of taking aspirin, Ibuprofen would be a better choice, it's more for inflamation. I would take the Ibuprofen first and then take the hydrocodon a little later, also prop your knee up, maybe try putting a heating pad.

It could be dangerous so I wouldn't try it. It's best to ask your doctors about these things.
