Last Kiss is the saddest song I ever heard. Pearl Jam does a wonderful job singing it, but the original version is sung even sadder. I don't know who the original artist was though.

My grandmother had died recently. And, losing her made me face reality and the thought that I could also lose my mother one day. I just started boo-hoo-ing right there.

the song chorus goes something like...
I don't mean to start any blasphemous rumors,
but I think that God has a sick sense of humor..
and when I die I expect to find him laughing..

makes me wonder about afterlife and all.. but doesn't paint a pretty picture for what it might be like.
