How long will someone be jailed for child molesting

A child molester should be given a life-term sentence so he won't be given another chance to repeat such crime. Imagine the trauma a child has to undergo after being molested by him. I hope child molesters rot in jail and will experience also being molested by his co-inmates.

depends on the charges, and what he/she was proved guilty of. A male molested my daughter, he went to prison for 6 years, however, with each good day, counting as two days, he was only in prison for anout 33 months.

It all depends on the the state laws and what mood the judge is in. Could be anywhere from 3 months county to 25 yrs-life in state pen. It also depends on his or her previous convictions/felonies. (((Although personally I think they should get the chair.)))

varies from state to state, 1st offense or more, what other crimes are involved. I hope you are not considering molesting a child and wanting to know what your punishment will be.

I don't know how much actual time one would serve I know that it seems people get more time for grand theft larceny. If you steel someones money its a graver offense in the eyes of the law than hurting children.

Hopefully for the rest of their life or until some one in jail kills them. Have no pity for them.But it depends on the court.

depends on waht the charges are, i know in GA they will do 90% og their sentence, they don't get released early for good behavior or anyhting like that

depends on the offense and also the age of the child. Also, it depends on the offender and what (if any) previous offenses he/she has.
