Yes, I am.... but, wait, you don't have an ulterior motive for asking this question, do you? I mean, you don't have some sort of secret computer thingy tracking the answers?

I agree... but there are also other conspiracy theories...
like all the media is liberal except for a few sources...
all liberals want a communist revolution in the US...
Iraq had something to do with 9-11...
Clinton was offered Bin Laden....
These are just as silly as those you mentioned, yet many conservatives hold them as true as some liberals hold the issues you cited as true... the only facts that are offered up for them are just as oddly cited through some sad blog as those 9-11 conspiracy theories are...

1. I have no clue but it has had too much hype already
2. Yes and no, I have seen a lot of evidence that supports the terrorism. I have also seen a lot of evidence that supports the fact that we knew something about what was going to happen. We should have done more to stop it.
3. Yes, I beleive that he was a key player in what happened. Though again I think all of the media, just gives him what he wants...more attn. Our military needs to just find him and destroy him...then tell us about it.
4. Absolutely NOT
5. Time will tell someday
So very true. Though sometimes we need to help the timeline along when searching for the information. What really screws the stuff up is the fact is....the information that we get on most of this is nothing but a bunch of journalists trying to make a name for themselves.

Without conspiracy theories there would be no need for tabloids.
Without tabloids there would be nobody standing in line at the grocery stores gossiping about what they read in the tabloids.
Without anyone gossiping about what they read in the tabloids people would have to go home and actually talk about what they actually learned during the day and actually become genuinely interesting to one another because they weren’t regurgitating the garbage they read from some tabloid.
With people being genuinely interesting to one another, people’s marriages would be less likely to fail and people would develop more intelligent pursuits in life, like learning to be more effective at communicating with one another.
With people being better at communication, people would increase the likelihood of not having disputes and possibly coming to agreements with one another without the use of violence.
With less violence and a society that has better communication skills there would be an increased likelihood that people would become better educated.
With a better educated society, people would be less likely to purchase things unnecessarily, be more aware of their impact on their environment, on their health, and on each other and be less likely to be lead by their fears.
With a society that is less likely lead by their fears we would probably pick our political leaders on more solid and principled grounds instead of on conjecture and hyperbole and blatant lies.
If there were no conspiracies the powers that be would have no power and we would be as free as the day we were born.
Why disrupt the social norm?

No, it gives people with no life something to talk about.
By the way, I believe Marilyn Monroe was killed by the extraterrestrials from Roswell who were forced by the government to assume secret identities on earth. They killed her to hide the fact she was really Adolph Hitler after a sex-change operation.

THANK YOU !!!!! My favorite was when a man called in to a radio show and said that Bush was responsible for Katrina hitting the gulf coast. Not the mess afterward....the hurricane itself. All I could think of was damn President Bush is a powerful man!!!! Can we also suggest that court cases be tried in the courtroom and not in the media?

Who put you up to asking this question? I smell conspiracy!
Actually, yes. I am fed up with people trying to turn nothing into something. But some people love to see a zebra when the rest of us see a horse. Is it boredom or what?

If there weren't conspiracy theories, a lot of people wouldn't think to question the "truth" that we're given. I admit that a lot of them are very crazy, but even if we're being crazy in doing so we still need to question the information we're given.

I think the conspiracy theories are a conspiracy of their theorists and a secret attempt to take over the world.

There's hardly any truth to any of them, but having them out there doesn't hurt anything. I'm a Conservative and I love dispatching the tin-foil hat wearing morons.
