i hate the drama part, it is too draining and pointless. people who ike this kind of drama where confrontation for only confrontation sake gives them a thrill don't have too many friends.
i sometimes like or can even enjoy a heated exchange of opinions but when anger is involved thats when it's time to stop and maybe pickup the subect another time when one or both parties have cooled down.

also, when i was younger i was hard for me to stand my ground even when i knew i was in the right. now i speak up for myself even tho it might lead to an argument since that is better than being taken advantage of. i don't look for confrontations nor do i enjoy them but they are just part of life.

I do not enjoy it but I realize if none of us were ever to argue too much built up tension will one day explode, so having confrontations are important, they allow the growth of stronger friendships. I don't do it for the 'thrill' of having drama, but to make sure I'm not being a bad friend so I know if I'm doing something wrong

i think confrontation or argument just for the sake of doing it is useless, especially when done through anger, it accomplishes nothing. i do enjoy a healthy debate or exchange of ideas without anger being involved, as i think you can learn about others, as well as yourself that way. it's too bad that many people have to have drama to feel something, or draw attention to themselves.

I hate drama, and I hate dramaqueens/kings, I can't stand watching soap operas either....why do people thrive on the negative attention, what do they get out of it???? I'm glad me and my husband don't enjoy drama...

No, I hate them. The worst are people who pick arguments about religion or politics.

i hate confrontations and arguments. but if someone abused you or something, we dont have a choice but confront the person what's the problem to settle it out.

no. it makes life complicated. i try to be passive and patient most of the time when a narrow minded person confronts me about nonsense.
