Does Google pay you if you have adds from them in your web page?

I've heard something about making money through Google... how's that?

Adsense, https://www.google.com/adsense/?sourceid=aso&subid=ww-en-ha-adsense&medium=sem but you need to get A LOT of hits in order to make any money on it. I have yet to recoup server costs. Keep your day job is the name of the game.
