If you have worked as an IBO or have just heard about Quixtar, please tell me any insight, negative or positive. The reason why is because I am seriously pondering on registering. Thank you all.

The products are too expensive, most people will go where it is cheaper. You have to really like what you sell. Whoever you are under will want you to sell so they can earn more, get in your life it is kind of like a cult. So sign up under someone you don't know. You really don't make money at it unless you really get out there and push it. I got a little burnt out and frustrated with it. although I am still an active IBO ( I think), I don't think I will renew, but you never know. Good Luck :)

What you have to remember about the internet is that it's kind of like the bathroom wall, and that seems heavily relevant in this post :).

I am registered as an IBO and am currently building the business, and this is definitely an opportunity you want to take. You'll never find any backstabbing, cheating, or anything unethical in this business - the people that you meet are fantastic, and you will change for the better.

As a business, Quixtar is tops in online sales and carries fantastic products - they're not more expensive, especially since you get far better quality and more uses than what you would get at say, Walmart. BWW as an education system has created 1000+ self made multimillionares, be one of them!

According to the Internet Retailer magazine's Top 500 Guide http://www.internetretailer.com/top500/facts.asp , Quixtar is ranked #20 in terms of annual sales -- bigger than Netflix (#21) and Gap (#24). Quixtar is the ecommerce and direct marketing subsidiary of Alticor Inc. (which also owns Amway)

In 2005, Quixtar posted annual sales of $751 million. Their website conversion rate is a high 8% (compared to Costco.com's 1.8% conversion rate).

The company appears strong. I guess it would be up to the individual member to decide how they will perform with the company. I've met some who really do well with Quixtar, while I also know of several who can't make money from it.

I was a member of Amway (Quixtar) many years ago, it had it's day but it is long past. If you are looking for a business as a tax deduction it is great as is any other small business. If you need to make money there are companies with a much better record without the distributor headaches.

quixtar is amway, and to make real money you have to have alot of people under you so not only you can make money but to make enough to pay for the required amount you have to buy each month..

if your looking for a small business I'd get into one that helps people

ie: helps people save money on electricity
