Depends if its the girlfriend of wife (long time partner)
obviously one should last forever and not stop until both partners are truly fulfilled, this always takes longer with girlfriends, with the wife it seemed to take less time.
I used to go and have sex all day and or evening, having affairs is the best thing for long sex, I miss that now i am divorced

Are we talking the physical act of intercourse, or the general activity of lovemaking? Lovemaking can go on for hours, even days with proper hydration, but intercourse that goes on for too long can numb the sensation in the vaginal wall, and can hurt if she loses her lubrication. If you're looking to break a record or a personal best, go on however long you want, provided you've got some lube for when she starts to get dry, but generally no more than twenty to thirty minutes at a stretch without switching to oral or manual, or at least switching positions.

For a quickie... Then 10 minutes is fine...
For something more memorable... Anything upto and beyond 3 hours... With lots of foreplay and "playing"...
