You go to your IE browser and you click on TOOLS then Internet Options and then go to your ADVANCED tab. Check the part that says Disable javascript debuggin to turn it off or on. There should also be an option to show javascript notification script error.

Theres a difference between javascript and java so make sure you enable and disable the correct one.

In Internet Explorer- click on Tools at the top and then click Internet Options. In Internet Options click on the Advanced tab at the top. Scroll down almost to the bottom where you see "Java" and remove the check from the box. There's also a Java control center in the Control Panel if you want to toy with settings there too. Good Luck!
