If I were to reccomend and iPod for you I would recommend iPod video because you can do a lot on it than any other mp3 player. You know it's features that other mp3 players doesn't have. I like the iPod video. The thing that I hated about it is it easily gets scratched. I should have bought a lcd screen protector for it, now mine got a few scratches. It's really easy to put music to it from your hard drive, cd, dvd. It's easy I would not recommend any other mp3 player. The thing that I hate about it is that the accessories are expensive you know the case and other stuff. The iPod itself is worth it but the accessories you really have to think twice.

I had a Nano but it broke. Get an MP3 player that is Play For Sure compatible. Which means you can use it on windows media player. its easier to sync on WMP. I have a San disk Sansa and it's great! Also if you get an ipod you can't download WMP files onto it and you have to buy a lot of extra accessories. Also after time the battery wears out.

Yes, I really like it.
Yes, I use it every day.
I like it because it's small and holds a TON of music. It's much better than carrying around a CD player and CD's!
It is easy to get music onto.
Yes, I prefer an ipod to computer, CD player, and stereo.

I don't have one, but have used several of m friends' and i find them just as simple as mp3 players that cost like $150 dollars less. unless ur looking for video, go with something cheaper than ipod. also, ipods can only play one format, and many providers such as walmart and Yahoo! Music cannot provide the correct format. therefore ur forced to pay whatever price apple wants you to.
if ur going for the same look though, i would recommend the Zen Micro or Zen Micro Photo (the color version). They run $150 to $200 respectively, and after a year i have found them to be of superb quality.

Ipod Nano. Its easily hidden. And its easy to use. Definitely recommend it. People say it breaks easliy but if you dont do anything stupid with it and it just happens to fall. It will be okay. I've dropped mine plenty of times and it works fine. Drop it in the water....well thats on you. But personally Ive got to ask you what the heck was it doing near water? Its an IPOD! Just be smart with it and it will be your best friend. Only thing I dislike is that I got the 1GB holding only 250 songs. Wish I got the 2GB but thats my fault not the people from Apple. Hope you enjoy it.

i have an ipod and i hate its guts. the thing sits in my desk drawer unused. it is proprietary and not user friendly. i much preferred my old mp3 players than the ipod. where i could just change the battery as needed and put my mp3s on or off with ease. they are expensive too. seriously, i do not even use the thing.

Just go buy a regular mp3 player. iPods aren't the way to go.
