Amsterdam Weed.?

How much dose it cost to buy a gram of weed in Amsterdam?Someone told me that it was expensive.

the stuff they have in amsterdam is a lot more pure than what is found in the states. If you buy it there, you have to smoke it there and the only places to buy the stuff (legally) is in "coffeeshops" there, where they will have a whole menu of your options, from what type of stuff you are buying and how much you you pay per gram.

As a note, Marijuana isn't technically legal in the Netherlands, it is only tolerated and sort of ignored by the police there, If you tick off cops there or if you are out of control, they will arrest you, and if you have too much on you (i believe it is somewhere between 3-5 grams) they will arrest you for that too

Word around town is that you can pay anywhere from 5-12 euros per gram, depending on what kind you go for.

I agree with those answers and I want to add that you might be careful and not underestimate the quality. ;-)

By the way, you can buy grass almost everywhere in the Netherlands and in most places it is cheaper then in Amsterdam.

Nope. If I am correct it was about 12 Euros. Less than half the cost in the states.

Where I visited, it was 13 euros (European Money) for one gram of Ak47

really depends totally on what you buy. if you are going to be buying Ak47 or White Widow or something, yeah it's expensive, but you don't /have/ to buy the absolute best stuff they have.
