on really hot days it feels like theres no hope the air feels cool but is not blowing hard enough to cool entire truck. takes forever for you to cool off if your sitting in the front seat and have 2 of the front vents blowing on you, sitting in back you heat to death!!!!!

do you have the vents open for fresh air or closed for recycled air? when using the a/c you should always have the vents closed to recycle the cool air - it works much better that way.

Sounds to me like it might be low on refrigerant. Have a competent mechanic check the pressures on the AC system. If it feels like it is not moving enough air...A low airflow problem...Most likely it is a problem in the duct system. If the dampers are not fully closing to force all of the air out of the vents this could be the problem. Next time you notice a problem, check to see if it is also blowing air out of the floor vents and/or the windshield defrost vents as well. Good Luck!

try cleaning your evaporator coil. its real easy. look on the passenger side under the dash. take the blower motor off and use a mirror to look up in the a/c housing. you will see a little radiator looking thing, thats the coil. spray coil cleaner on the coil, and rinse with a water hose.
not many people do that. some people say its stupid. but i just did mine, and my a/c went from blowing 60 degrees to 36.
