excellent car...............I have owned a 1989 honda civic, a 1996 honda civic and a 1993 honda accord...........and I drove them for up to 200,000 plus miles.........no problems except for the usual maintance...............and for whatever reason the timing belt needs to be changed after about 50,000 miles on most hondas....great cars, great gas mileage.........love hondas

Proud owner here too!! I have a Honda Civic DX 1996. Runs great and my mileage currently is 111,368 and I do the regular oil change every 3,000 to 6,000 and tire rotations every 5,000 mileage. I can't complain and has a good gas mileage as well. The only cons about having a 10 year old car is car thieves who wants the parts to my car. It's very annoying actually and the car theft happens usually in the middle of the night and I find out when my alarm goes off. lol Has anyone else experience this with your honda civics?

Depends on the condition of the car of course, in particular you are talking about. My dad and I once bought a green DX once and then we had to sell it because it was junk. Then, I and my family sold that and bought another 95 EX and it was GREAT!! I still own the car and it hasn't brought me down so far!! It's still great, I love it, because it get's me from point A to point B, and that's all that really matters to me. It's a great car, and it was a great deal! I have a/c in it! Well, my dad bought me new ones when I was first driving it. I've had it for 4 years now. It's not even new and I have power everything!

great on gas, and being modified, pretty good on reliability if the previous owner did not beat the crap out of it, hey do you remember me answering one of your questions and being a smart a$s? because there was this guy stalking you and he wrote me a hate mail and said he was gonna rip off my toe and spit down my head, and i asked him what bothered him and he wouldn't tell me, he just said it was one of my answers, so i figure you must be the one that he was talking about, it was your question about people not liking you, well i apoologize if that were the case, in all reality i was just trying to make you giggle, but to get that guy off my jock i am apologizing, even though i am very sure that he enjoys being on my jock!! have a nice day, and yeah you should buy the civic and put a turbo and body kit on it and lamborghini doors and 19's, bya!!

I've had my 94 civic ex for 6yrs and it has 240,000miles. It gets 32mpg-city. It has never broken down or left me stranded and the only repairs it's needed were brakes, ignition switch and ac compressor.

Good car. My only complaint is they rust at the top of the wheel wells in Northern climates.
