earthquakes r scarry cuz u dont get much warning, but ive never been in a serrious earthquake. i would think a tornado is scarrier cuz they are so very unpredictable. hurricanes r also very devastating but u get lots of warning if u watch the weather channel. so i think tornadoes, but i have never been in one. maybe ppl who have been in earthquakes, but not tornadoes, think tornadoes r scarry. and ppl who have been in tornadoes, but not earthquakes, think earthquakes r scarry. either way i think ur bro is right.

Well, the one earthquake I've experienced here in the northeast was weak so it did nothing but shake a few Cd's off my desk.. I didn't even realize it was an earthquake til about four hour later I thought the cat was up on my desk. I've been through hurricanes here but since they aren't like the ones you get down south I don't tend to think those are too big a deal either. However, when I lived out in Indiana for 4 years I experienced a tornado and I'd never ever want to experience one again. I'd say that is the scariest of the three from my own view.

Earthquakes because you can't always be sure when they are coming or exactly how much damage they are going to do and it covers a bigger area instead of a little and here is why. Tornadoes happen without warning a lot, but once you see them you can tell what it would do and it doesn't cover so much of a big area. Then hurricanes can easily be avoided. When "hurricane Rita" came here, we were actually told it was going to hit like late Friday night Sunday about 5 days before, then it hit Saturday morning, which was about 6 days before, but to be in it is scary and tornadoes usually just pulverize everything in its path, so that is scary too. To be in a Earthquake is scary because the ground is shaking and you just feel like it may crack and then you are going down and they don't last that long, so then Hurricanes may be because they cover a good bit of area and they ast a while and they can also spin off tornadoes, so a hurricane beats a tornado, just because of that.

I don't know but I would love to be in any one of them. Hurricanes and tornadoes are awesome! I've never been in an earthquake, but that would be an experience.

tornados terrify me, its probably because im afraid of heights put i can't immagine getting pickedup from the ground by a swirling wind and falling back to the ground
plus i've survived an hurricane already and earthquakes just don't scare me for some reason

At least with a tornado or hurricane you have warning, and you can take shelter. How do you take shelter in an earthquake?
