my boss went out of bussiness, i have stored his things from the company. he has not contaced me for at least two years now can i keep this equimptent?

Send him a registered letter, asking him what you should do with his equipment you have been storing for two years, and send him a bill for the storage cost. In the letter give him 30 days to respond or state that you will have to dispose of the equipment. If he does not respond and pay you - then do what you want.
Be sure to list the equipment you are holding.

Put a small classified ad in your local newspaper (the classified ad dept. will know what section of the paper to put it in). Tell xyz company that equipment will be sold in 30 days to cover storage if not claimed.

If he doesn't show up then it's yours.

I would say call him and ask him does he want the equipment. If he says yes give it back. If he says no sell it. but at least contact him.

Give him the option of coming after it, but charge him rent for the storage.
