I'm just starting to wear make-up, so what make-up should I put on?

I have brown hair and like 3 inches past my shoulders and brown eyes with a round face. What make-up should i wear?

does it look ok to wear eyeliner and not mascara?

i was wearing like this sparkly eyeshadow and people though it was weird, is it weird?

I know oyu want just eyeliner, but mascara is really the way to go. Well, I have been told in new york and other places, dark brown.sable mascara is the way to go unless your eyelashes are actually black-then wear black. Because you have brown hair and brown eyes, it may be best to use blakc. i would go to a makeup counter at the mall and ask them to show you on one eye, black mascara, and on the other, brown. Makeup is to enhance your features-one you get that down, you find yur best features and bring them out.

When applying mascara, wipe off the wand to get the excess gunk off, and then when you apply it, turn the wand so it doesn't clump on your lashes.

ALSO! When you start applying color to your eyes, don't use those crummy foam applicators they put in makup packages, those are not every good. Get yourself some makeup brushes-since you are a beginner you can get cheap ones from the drug store, but they put makeup on soooo much better.

Since you are starting out, just do a little. do you lashes, some lipgloss or pale lipstick (don't forget lip liner, it keeps it from bleading), concealor for pimples (if you have any), and if nessecary a tiny color in the corners of your eyes.

makeup can be fun, but gotta get your chops down before you can get too wild.

first of all dont start wearing base just use powder! Get some white eyeliner and put a thin stripe right above your eyelashes then on top of the eyeliner use really really light purple eye shadow! Use a mascera that makes your eye lashes look really long! You can never go wrong with long eye lashes! Also use a really light brown lip stick i dont know why but brown blends in with everybodys lips! Hope this helps you out GOOD LUCK!

Brown eyes are great because you can wear any color of eyeshadow and it will still go with your eyes(lucky u) . Definitely wear mascara with eyeliner.Never gob on make up. It looks tacky when you do that . Try a natural look you know use makeup that looks like you were born with it not like you are gettin ready for halloween.Have fun !

Ok...you should always go for make-up like Clinique and Perscriptives that are hypo-allergenic. If that is too pricey, then get Almay. As for eye liner without mascara, if you have dark lashes that you can see once the eyeliner is on, then don't bother. My sister has lashes like that. I wear mascara as it just highlights my lashes. Be careful with eye make-up that you do not over-do it, too much looks terrible.

As for the rest keep it simple and do not wear dark lipstick! Keep it natural!

well since you are just starting out to wear makeup i would deffinetly keep it simple. you dotn want to look like mimi off of jim carey but anywho i would use earthtones with brown hair and not to much of anything and may i suggest wearing mascara and not liner it will make you seem like you have more natural beauty than trying to define the eye, also i would use a suttle pink gloss and maybe a highlighted cheekbone but nothing drastic.

i agree w/ the "less is more". you sound like you are good-looking already so, you sure don't need to CHANGE your looks just ENHANCE you natural beauty.
put on lotion before bed and after a shower, this will keep you looking young. wear BLACK mascara and use an eyelash curler. using these 2 items will make your eyes pop! on the eyes also use eyeliner. smear black liner if you want it to look more natural and use blue liner if you want it to look less natural. blush and lip gloss. try out the colored lip balms.
if you have other areas that you would like to draw attention to, consider more make-up in that area.

Most people would say brown but it actually will make u look pretty plain, and boring especially with brown hair and eyes. Because brown is a deep, bold color u wan to go with a softer color for ur face to soften your look. So try pinks. They really accentuate with your browns and it will look soft and natural, and you will have some color to your face other than putting brown on brown. Give it a try.

You should start wearing mascara and chapstick or lip gloss. That's a great way to start out wearing makeup. And then whenever you start to become more fond of makeup then you can start adding on the foundation, eyeliner, blush, and etc. =) Hope it helped you out. start with light things, light shadows light browns work good, try not to go over board. masacara isnt always a must but u can play around and see. eyeliner is good just pick a color that works with the eyeshadows. light blush like a peach or light pink. light gloss works good as well

try brown eyeliner on the lower lid, and a nice grey or lavender eyeshadow, and then black mascara. always use mascara. that is the one item of make up that i cant live without
