You'd be better off saving your files and doing a clean install of Win 2K rather than an upgrade. Check to see if your processor will handle the operating system. Just google Win2000 and check the system requirements.

if it came with w95, then it must be about 10 yres old. I doubt if it will work smooth.

You can but most of your hardware will not function.
