As an Australian I have to correct a couple of you. We are not yet a republic, however we are not ruled by England.
If you knew anything about history you would know we were in both the 1st and 2nd world wars. We were nearly invaded by Japan during the 2nd.
We have troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, East Timor,West Papua, Bougainville, The Solomon Islands and are also having problems with Indonesia.
Apart from that, we live in a fairly peaceful environment. We have mistreated the native Australians, as all white settlements have in their countries and that is an issue that needs addressing badly.
As for ruling the world, I would say the present government is equipped for that. I believe we would really give it a go mate. LOL

That is hilarious! Austrailia has more unrest than many other countries. They don't even grant equal rights to all of the citizens........that's largely in reference to the Aboriginals.
No one country should rule the whole world although one national system of government would certainly make for more peace.

Only if they lower the price of Fosters and make more available to the masses and increase the population of Kangaroos so we can have a greater supply of the burgers.
Oh, they need to export more of the women
