About 66% of the country think we are on the wrong track. Bush wouldn't even be able to win the GOP primary.

He did not really have a strong opposition. George W. Bush, during his latest election campaign allegedly already had been planning a small war with Iran. John Kerry, meanwhile, had been hoping to have the Temple of Solomon re-erected on its original site by the year 2012, a manoeuvre that would almost certainly have resulted in a third world war. Furthermore, John Kerry was conveniently opposing the war in Iraq while flaunting his military past.

I seem to recall learning about the reason Ralph Nader entered the election race. He did not hope to win, but nevertheless wanted to make a statement. He is an American of Lebanese descent. The name 'Nader' is Arabic for nadar, or the lowest point, often in a trajectory. When the three candidates would be lined up on the election ballot, in alphabetical order - namely, Bush, Kerry and Nader - the progression would run from bad, worse to worst.

To correct a previous poster...Bush's latest poll approval rating is 39%.

To answer this question...the majority of states must have thought Bush was better than Kerry and in 2000 better than Gore. The 2004 race shows that America won't just vote against someone yet, they have to have people with alternate ideas they agree with before they will vote for them. Kerry had no good ideas, so he lost.

I don't think Bush would be re-elected, even though he's pandering to his base now, he's been inefective for his right wing constituents that elected him.

He was reelected because the popular culture in this country does not reflect the views of those who voted. Among people who actually vote, his popularity is considerably more than what is reported for the country, as a whole.

There is proof he stole the election. Or do you not have any information on your leader? Did all his cronies vote as Bush asked them to? Then fire them also. He also has increased the national debt from 5.6 trillion to 8.4 trillion since 1999. Hope your children enjoy that debt. His partner Cheney received all the contracts for the logistics of the war. I would say that is a kind of conflict of interest since he didn't have to bid on them. , Cheneys old venture, Halliburton is not even an American company. Who do you think will get drilling contracts in Alaska? I guess we will see.

With the help of his brother, the governor of Florida, and his father's appointments to the Supreme Court, Bush became President after losing by over 500,000 votes.

Easy he cheated, but he didn't need to because John kerry was a flip flopper. I'm a democrat and I would've voted for Bush. Even though he's a puppet he will eventually be out of office until we put someone better inside.

I believe he wasn't legallly elected either time-certainly not the first. From what I have read about Ohio and no paper trail he didn't win this time either.
The main two reasons why people voted for Bush is they think he's a Christian and hates gays and their greedy.

Fear coupled with an unwillingness to take responsibility and see the whole picture of what this war is all about. Freedom and Democracy are just the public faces. Peace.

The situation involving both his elections are shady at best. And he has a 29% approval rating. How would he win an election if he had the chance. Rob it. Naahhhh. Not him.
