How do you get it to play a dvd that you have with the video? I can hear the audio but all i see is the "album art" which of course there isnt any so it show a musical note. Please help

You can use wmp and just go to the link below download one of the dvd decoders.

Also get the dfx 6 program it is like and amp for wmp, you can't use it to full effect but what you can get out of it is a very nice addition to your sound for wmp. My computer came with intervideo and I like it but the computer is in a room with 50 inch tv.
I use intervideo when I'm alone and the wmp with dfx 6 on to watch dvd when the tv is on. I use earphones and I don't hear anything in the room. Using dfx 6 while burning cds makes them louder and generally clearer. Also download neccesary codecs for wmp and turn on all the file types for wmp in the settings section. I don't think WMP can play DVDs. The DVD player should have had a software with it, which you can use to watch DVDs...

If your computer doesnt have a dvd player then you wont see the video.

don't play it w. WMP. go to "my computer", then go to your D drive (or whatever drive your CD/DVD is) and then click on the file on there that is the video.

no way, or you can but not recommended you to play dvd on WMplayer because the program is not for this feature, i recommended you to install program called "intervideo win dvd"
