My best friend has lied to me several times and she never tells me anything anymore. She apalogizes everytime, and she almost cries everytime. I know she loves me as a friend but how come she never shows it? How can I find out whats new without saying, 'You haven't talked to me in a while, what are you hiding this time?'

Is there something happening in your friends life she might be embarresed about? The lying might be something she is doing to cover up the real probelm and not talking to you about it is soemthing she is embarreseed by,
Sit down with your friend and ask her if there is anything wrong and if she says now and ask you why tell her you find her behaviour worrying. Who knows it may work.

Just say hey whats up ? I have not talk to you in a while thought I would give you a call. Bet to be honest. that is not a true friend. A true friend would not lie to you all the time.I just would not believe her/him anymore. Good luck on whatever you decide to do with this.

You can't make her talk to you, just be honest with her. Tell her how you feel and that you are tired of feeling like you have to drag things out of her. Best friends should be able to tell eachother anything and know that they can trust the other person.

I went through the same thing with my bestfriend of 8 years. Unfortunately we are not friends any longer because she started to keep things from me and lie which was very upsetting. You just need to sit down and think...this may be a point in both of your lives when you are jus growing apart from one another.

well if she doesnt tell you alot how can u trust her being your friend so ask her why r u not telling me anythin anymore its making me feel like you dont wanna hang with me anymore and if she doesnt end up still telling you anythin anymore then maybe you should stop being her friend cuz it looks like she doesnt want to be yours

Can you really consider this person... who lies to you, keeps things from you, that you can't trust... can you really consider them your BEST friend.
Maybe it is time for you to move on to someone you can trust.
