Insecurity is but natural. It is not only women who suffers them, men too.
Some women just cannot help being insecure about their looks because in today's world, the media has stereotyped what looks are beautiful and what are not. So, when some women just do not fall on the categories that looks good, they just cannot help but feel insecure.
IMHO, every one should be proud of what they are given for we all are special and beautiful in our own unique ways. :)

Have you looked at all the ads lately? Catalogs, TV, Magazines, Billboards. It seems like the whole world looks better that you do. A person just has to accept what they have, and make the most out of it. Yeah, plastic surgery is nice, but costs some serious coin. If you have it, great, if you don't, no worries. Play up what you do have. A great figure? Cute face? Perfect smile? The best personality? Everyone has something.

I don't think it's SOME but MOST women who're insecure about their looks, lol!
And if they deny it, they're so totally lying.
I just think it's a part of our nature to feel insecure 'bout anything which includes feeling guilty on everything like eating too much, being good enough for our boyfriend, having good grades and just about a lot of things really...

It's a natural thing biologically. It's the same with animals too. If a female is more attractive to males than the chance to reproduce is at a higher chance...that's kind of why there are turn on's and turn off's in people. Men just bring the sperm, women has to get the guy aroused...not to be nasty, but its scientifically true.

They have reason to be, they go around without makeup, wearing a self-conscious face,
they are depressed, because they are overweight because they eat all the wrong things, like stuffing their face with donuts & get fatter & fatter! Now wouldn't you be insecure in that situation?

Us chicks are our own worst enemy. We are. We should not be, but were are too competitive with one another. I don't know if it is that we are insecure for the most part or that we just spend a whole lof time comparing ourselves to other chicks. Waste of time.

everyone is insecure about their looks in some way if they're honest! Even us men! We all see our inperfections when we look in the mirror. If we didn't see something we could make better we'd be vain!

because we watch too much t.v. and our guys are all bollywood struck. everybody wants to lookl ike Pam Anderson....so they get boobs.. J.LO work out get that butt bigger. but what our ever so lovingly men in our lives don't understand that if they gave us $4000.00 dollars a week to hire a make up artist.........we could look like that to.... and get boobs , isn't it wierd, how they say....you don't need breast implants...they are dangerous.something might go wrong. but they love bleached blond hair and a face full of make-up, and a big pair of plastic boobs.

I think because people are always judging them, if not a boyfriend than a friend or a family memeber, oh and media dosen't help either.
