why do men assume all overweight women eat to much and are lazy?

Question

why do men never think a medical condition like thyriod condition or PCOS or some other medical condition could be the cause of weight problems?

and why when someone tries to explain that they have a medical condition do they call them a liar - even when they have the printed facts about the disease and the doctors diagnosis?

why also do men think it is thier "duty" to berate all women they think are fat? what gives them the right to put down anything a heavy woman says as being a lie - when half the time they are overweight themself!!

for those of you who said medical conditions are 1 in 10,000 you need to check your medical facts!!! you are off by more then 9,500 according to prominant professional medical journals!!!

One is the answer = because they are men (STUPID) they think only with their d i c k ! Just be yourself , better little overweight than a stick!

Because the VAST majority of fat women, eat too much and are lazy. Don't get me wrong, few men care if you are fat. If you are fat and normal, your acceptance by men is exactly the same as if you were thin (whether or not you believe this, it's a fact). But, it is a major warning sign that you aren't normal and have bad habits that most normal men would like to avoid in a woman.

Also, you don't have to justify being fat. Don't bother telling men you have a condition. WE DON'T CARE. What we care about is if you are a normal, decent person. Focus on that. It's all we care about. Most men know if you are normal and decent within a few minutes of meeting you, BTW. Even if you are one of the many women who is a pathological liar, you will eventually be found out.

I would turn this around on you and ask why you are assuming men think like that?

Maybe you have had a few bad experiences with some men. Hopefully in the future you meet some better/nicer types who don't make you feel bad.

A lot of how you are treated in this matter is what you give off- if you approach it as apologizing for why you are fat (health, etc.) then men are going to ask why you keep making excuses. It would be much better if you could approach it with an attitude of being happy with yourself and doing the best you can. Most people/men won't argue with that.

Most men aren't doctors, that is why they don't think it is a medical condition. Not all men berate heavy women. My husband would never do that, he is a kind gentle man. You need to change the type of people you associate with, if that is the only type of men you are around.

No offense intended, but medical conditions only account for 1 in about 10,000. The rest eat too much. They may not be lazy or even a slob, but they take in more fuel that they burn-do the math.
