Adagio for Strings, but unfortunately I can't recall the name of the movie. It was a war movie and these 2 guys hated each other. Just before a chopper came to pick them up 1 guy shot the other and left him for dead. He didn't die though and as he watched the helicopter fly away this song was playing. To me the song is gut-wrenching.

There's soooooooooooooo(infinate) many, but I kinda thought Avril Lavinge's "Slipped Away" in Searching for David's heart was sooooooo sweet. And it went quite well with the film. And when you think of all the songs John Williams created (Duel of the Fates, E.T., Jaws, ect.)....he's brilliant.

I'm not sure of the title name of the song, but it is sung by Kenny Rogers in the movie "Officer and a Gentleman" very last song during credits. "Love lifts us up where we belong, on a mountain high...."

Although I have to agree with the previous answer of Angel in City of Angels as a good one, I personally loved "She" by Elvis Costello in Notting Hill.
