I'm a brunette also. What i like to wear makes me look natural. That's the key. Brown is a heavenly skin tone color and naturally distinct in hair color also. So this is what I like to do.
Start with a light foundation that matches your skin tone color.
On the eyes:
NEUTRAL COLORS ( BROWNS) Apply a base neutral color to the lid. Brush on a decently darker browner shade coloron the crease of your eyes with an angled brush. And put a little bit of a lighter shine under your brow. Then apply mascara. Don't have to buy the overly priced ones. I used to buy big name brands and it led me broke. HAHA. So I just use the department brand kinds. Try Maybelline XXL or L'Oreal Doublt Extend. Great. I love those. And you can put on a tad bit of eyeliner on your bottown eye lid. Don't put all the way start from the outer corner and go til you hit about the middle. Your eyes should be done and looking gorgeous.
On the cheeks:
apply a natural cheap bronzer or blush. Whatever you prefer. I think the bronzer is more applicable for the summer, it gives you a sun kissed color. Cheap is the key. I use Bonne Bell Bronzer. It's like a deal. 3 bucks I think. Apply gentle amount of it on your cheeks with a blush brush.
On your lips:
You can just wear Carmex or chapstick. Simple. Or if you want to you can then add a simple clear gloss. Or a gloss with a little bit of shade of caramel. Like a LITTLE bit of color. You have a great skint tone color and hair color. Don't overdue the makeup.
And that should be a great start for the makeup. Hope this helps you. =]

I'm a brunette. I don't wear a lot of makeup, but when i do, i wear a tiny bit of eyeliner, and lip gloss.

Well I have brown hair and green eyes! For green eyes pinks, purples, and browns look good for eye shadow! And for cover up just match your skin tone! Lips~use a medium tone lip stick....I use este lauder barley there, or miami peach! Then put a darker pink gloss on over it and then put a clear gloss with a little sparkle in it to spice things up! Youll be beautiful!

Theres lots of dif stuff.. how about eye color? or skin tone? those are both important factors! =)
Im brunette/brown eyes
I wear dark shadows.. grays/sparkly blacks
but sometimes browns, blues or greens.. subtle effects only
black eyeline and mascara!
a lil chapagne mosaic blush from victoria secret..
and thats pretty much it for me!

just keep it simple.....just wear some light sparkly eye shadow but not too sparkly and some lash exact mascara! It will bring out your eyes!
