Absolutley we do.........our country is simply massive and very diverse in it's landscapes. We are very fortunate to live in such a fabulous place!

Many people take 6 months to a year out of their lives and do the "round Oz" thing as this is simply how long it takes to see all there is in our fabulous nation. Caravan, combie, camping or 4WD is usually the best way to do this.

Each state is so diverse that you can travel to all states for a different experience - islands, bush, desert, mountains, snow, tropics, etc

Myself, I just came back from 4 weeks doing a "Top End" tour - Broome, Kimberleys, NT - totally awesome!

Aussies are just an adventurous bunch who, although steeped in a deep sense on national pride, don't think that we are the hub of the universe and are very interested in experiencing other cultures.

Ah - it's great to be an Aussie!

Just to stir up trouble. heheheheh

WHY the heck would anyone want to go to Australia? The koalas, in case you did not know, are super stinky. Half the place is a desert. The other half is overpopulated by cows and sheep. And the main attraction is this weird looking building that looks like a collection of white baby bonnets.

Austrailians live underground in little communities made by tunnels, like prairie dogs. So they dont go to far. If they surface to forage for food one has to stand guard and look out for preadators. If he sees one posing an immediate threat he has to make a noise that goes "woo loo woo loo woo loo", several times. It is only done for that reason in Austrailia, but in the US it is called the hucklebuck horny cry
