I want to know what an ADA number is when they ask you for getting direct deposit . Thanks !!

They are the first set of numbers on the bottom left of a check. The 2nd set is the account number.

Actually, it's an ABA number, also known as a routing number. If you look at one of your checks, it's the number on the left before your account number. Some banks use a different routing number for direct deposit, so make sure you contact your bank to get the correct one.

It's ABA number or another word for that is the Routing number. Those are the numbers that come first on your check--the bottom left and I believe it is 9 numbers.

It's the banks routing number. It's printed across the bottom of your check right next to your account number.

Do you mean the ABA or transit routing number? Its a nine digit number on the bottom of your checks. That's how they know which bank to send the money to.
