If you're talking about what the critics thought, you'd have to research each individual critic. If you're talking about what the public thought, through box office gross (most money made), they're as follows:

1968--The Graduate, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, Gone with the Wind (re-released in theatres), Bonnie and Clyde, Valley of the Dolls, The Odd Couple, Planet of the Apes, Rosemary's Baby, The Jungle Book, Yours Mine & Ours.

1969--The Love Bug, Funny Girl, Bullitt, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Romeo and Juliet (Zeferelli's), True Grit, Midnight Cowboy, Oliver! and Goodbye, Columbus (tie), Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Easy Rider
