People in pittsburgh have a lot of pride in the city's culture including world class museums and a busy theater district. The city has a rich history too! What pittsburghers are most proud of,though, are their Steelers. The climate is moderate, not to hot, not too cold, It does rain a lot but not compared to florida or the new england area. Pittsburgh is a very unique place. You'll often hear that it's a small town with a big city feel. Or even that its a big city with a small town feel... It just depends on your perspective.. It's often compared to New York or San Francisco because of it's heart and its amenities... but it's neither of those two. Pittsburgh is definetly its own city with a very distinct vibe

Pittsburgh, to me, is best described as the littlest big city in the world. We have corporate headquarters, plenty of businesses, art, museums, theater, sports teams who have all won their title (Steelers, Penguins, Pirates) at one time, and everything that a "big" city has to offer.

On the other hand, it is made up of lots of little, ethnic neighborhoods, and a very small downtown that can not get any bigger due to the rivers and mountainside. You drive away from downtown 10 miles in any direction, and all you see is trees and highway. You're never more than 20 minutes from hiking, bicycling, fishing, boating, hunting, skiing, snowboarding, and all outdoor activities.

It's the perfect balance, and I will never move. I love it here.

It's a great northern city, very hilly and it snows a lot (I'm from the south though). I love Pittsburgh, it's fun!

its just like normal, it isnt really exciting. i live in the suburbs so its just like houses and stuff then theres like malls and stores and like places to eat. the ciy is like 15 min from me but i usualy dont go there that much. its pretty big i guess and just like buildings, the staudiums, restuarants, hotels, etc. i guess the rivers r kinda cool cuz they surround like mostly the whole city and theres lots of bridges. it rains a lot kinda and snows a lot in the winter. but in the summer its pretty nice like it usually can get pretty hot. idkk like what else lol

afriend of mine named J.P. is from there and from what he told me the streets are pretty hilly, like when you take a walk it's not flat like it is here, there are a lot of hills. That's about all I remember from what he said.
