How high do you woman push up your sleeves?

Question

sometimes my grl friend pushes them both high above her elbow,and sometimes only one is pushed up and the other one is down, why? I asked her once and she just smiled

It's not one of the mysteries of women, I wouldn't think.
Women might push up their sleeves because a) the sleeves might make them too warm or b) the sleeves get in the way. Or we want to show off our hot arms. It's also a commonly used gesture when preparing to do any sort of task, perhaps something gross and messy, like take out the trash. Although if she does it a great deal you might suggest to her that she wear shorter sleeved shirts.
Or just ignore it. Although one sleeve up and one down might look odd. Maybe she smiled because it wasn't significant to her, she never really took notice to her doing it, and didn't have an answer for you, but was having a Mona Lisa moment.
Maybe you should start doing it. See if she asks you why, and give her a long-winded answer.

I roll mine over my elbows but I don't see why it would matter. Maybe she just likes to wear her sleeves that way. These answers shouldn't be a guide to how she should wear her sleeves.
However, I would wonder if she avoids showing one of her arms. Maybe she has a scar or something that she's embarrassed to show. Does she wear short sleeves?

Mid-forearm. I'm small and most clothes are too long for me in both the legs (which have to be shortened by my tailor) and the sleeves (which can just be rolled or pushed up).

Your girlfriend thought it was cute that you noticed that little detail. Next time, compliment her shoes, girls like that too.
