Like, whatever they do, it never works out and they always inevitably end up alone? Keeping in mind that some people actually feel good being alone, do you think there are people who are naturally meant to be alone? Kinda like when someone tries and tries to be successful but always end up failing while others get success just like that, without even trying. In the same way, is there such a thing as being destined to be alone, even if one yearns for company at the same time?

Very few are like that unless they actually prefer to be alone. They are alone because they choose to be alone.

Yes, I think so. Perhaps coupling is only for pro-creation? I believe there is allot to be said for enjoying ones own company. I came into this world a "free agent" I will leave this world a "free agent". I greatly enjoy being alone, I have much more creative energy when I am alone vs. in a relationship. The older I get the more comfortable I am in "aloneness" , and believe I may be one of those people, although I am very social, and do enjoy the fringe benefits of relationship, I am rather beginning to believe that more casual relationships are what works for me.

Your use of the word 'meant' is like the word 'fate' or 'destiny.' In one way the answer can be 'yes.' Because if you do nothing, like the ants on a leaf being carried down stream, you will be carried by the currents in your social life to where ever they take you. But a person can take control of their life. A person can set goals and learn new things and gain new abilities. A person can become more socially mature and stop bugging those around him. A person can learn how to be a friend, and treat others in ways that causes the others to change the way they treat him. When you change, you change your fate, or your destiny. Stop trying so hard to fit in. Become a better person and learn how to be a nice friend. Let the ones that like you come to you. Be stronger within yourself and your faith in yourself. Calm yourself and let the best person you can be emerge as you mature. Those who like what they see will naturally become your friends. Relax and don't be afraid.

Yes. I have a feeling that my baby sis is one of them. She is very very independant. She will always have a boyfriend, but I don't see her settling.

I think there are people who choose to be alone in life.

If you don't want to be alone, then it isn't inevitable. If you work at it, then it'll happen. Just keep trying.

Are people meant to be alone? As humans we are regularly gregarious creatures. WE desire and yes, YEARN for human company. Humans and humans have connections together that no one can explain. We, as humans, sometimes are not in control of our yearning for another human. What you mean is that 'Are their humans who will never get married?'. No, humans are meant to be together. They, no matter what means will find someone who enjoys their company. I hope my answer suits your situation.
