It depends on the situation and gender. There is an old saying that the pen is mighter than the sword. A well respected politician in my city once fought in an historic restaurant because someone said the wrong thing. I don't believe the saying sticks and stones can break my bones, but words will never hurt me is that true. I think that even after the bones have healed, the words stick with you for much, much longer. Sometimes forever. I know women are more communcative souls than are men, so men have to be careful in choosing their words around women, but wars have been fought over words. What exactly did you say that got you in to a philosophical thought such as this?

Absolutely! Most miserable people take themselves and life too seriously. Laugh a little - it's good for the soul. Laugh at life, each day is a sitcom in the making.
