Haha yeah. But maybe you should check out Chris Gaines, his alter ego. He was pretty good, too. Especially "Right Now". That was a good song.

Yes. Even though I live within scant miles of his hometown, I think without his flash and lights he wouldn't make as much money. However, he did try for many years at Nashville or wherever, before his first song made a hit.

YES I like A few of his songs when he Started But Now I can't Stand Him. But Don't Tell US99 (Chicago Radio Station) That Because they over play him so much

He was and is a great country star but the image and ego has made him overrated.... Mianly success he got from "friends in low places" filled his head.
But yeah stations over play him becuase he is still considered very bankable...
