Should you go for it and take that chance, or just go with your fear and not bother with it?

Well then just test the water first if your afraid. Send them a photo(!). If they've already seen it and its looks your worried about then rest assured that person is feeling EXACTLY the same way. If things didn't work between them coz maybe they weren't attracted after all then you still can manage a GREAT friendship and many better things come from friendships intime too. I reckon honey that you should get to know this person better and when the time comes you'll know. But take it from me, if he's a good man and not some netfreak then i'm sure he feels trepidation at the thoughts of hearing your voice and reaching out to you. If he's a decent guy then i'm sure he's probably afraid of this too, that you may not be who you appear or that if you are as he sees then he may not be good enough for your standard. Maybe, just maybe the craziest, stupidest(thats not a word is it!) way of impersonal communication might actually lead you two together. Wierder things have happened. I know this though if i were him and you lived in the same area i'd already have taken you out to dinner regardless of any circumstances or anything.
Get to know one another-this is a chance. Dont miss it! And I wont too! Xx

I can only assume you're talking about someone you met on the Internet. If this is the case, then my fear for you would not be what they would think of you but what they might do to you. Some people are not what they appear to be on-line. So if you choose to meet with them then take someone with you and meet in a crowded and very public place. As far as their disappointment, I wouldn't worry, just feel good about yourself and everything should fall into place. Besides, I know it'll sound corny, but "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained". Corny but true, good luck and be safe.

I think you should take a chance... if you have a crush on them then try and act like a good friend around them.... i just come out and meet some ppl sometimes and even tho i hav a crush and they dont want to go out with me they end up being my best friends.... the worst would be that he would become your friend unless he was a jerk..... then he would totally ignore you

You should definitely take the chance. Whats the worst that can happen he says he is not attracted to you and you move on. Or he does like you and you can start something great. but you won't know until you take the chance! go for it

You should go for it - because if you don't you might regret it later. Remember that you are your worst critic - so what you think might be disappointing might not be at all. Make sure you are honest with the person about yourself, don't lie - otherwise it will be a disaster.

Go for it. What do you have to lose. By you meeting the person u will feel better knowing how that person feels about u. And I bet that other person would feel flattered. It's a win, win situation.

You should have more self confident. Just go and be yourself!!!
A person is not worth it if they are only interested on how you look rather than who you are as a person from the inside!
Good Luck!

just write in the mirror with soap so everymorning you can see it for yourself,
"You are beautiful, You are loved, and take meds". seems to help a friend of mine, but you can scratch the meds part. (note:my friend was a bit coocoo)
