Good question! work is for money for me.....but i really dont like what i do....and the one i want to do has no better prospects...it can give me satisfaction but my folks and the society from where i come thinks that is too low a job and not much worth it.....seriously if some one loves books and wants to work as a librarian whats wrong in it....i can just be there in that world and read as much as i can....help people to find what they want...

Iam retired thus I dont.
However when I did work I was self employed and was doing what I enjoyed,not to mention making very good money all the while.
Most people on the other hand are stuck in a career they donot enjoy but they have to many years invested to change,others are just stuck in bad jobs they hate yet again are affraid to change.

My summer job, which is housekeeping, I mostly do for the money. I don't mind it, but I don't LOVE it either. My other job though is working at a school and I absolutely love it. If I didn't get paid to do it, I think I'd volunteer if I had the time. I'm still young though, so I haven't started my "career" yet.

I work for the money! I'm earning money for next years tuition, (Go UNR!) so I need to work.
However I very often do love my job. I work at a movie theater, and about 85% of the time you're working with really fun people, and you have a blast!

I hate my job but I have to work, need money to pay the bills and there aren't alot of jobs out here where I live so you have to take what you can get.

I love my job! The money is good, but if I did not enjoy what I do, I would be very unhappy and looking for another job!

I like my job a lot. I love my schedule though, since I get to work an alternate schedule of Mon, Tues, & Sat 7:30am - 6pm. That means my son is only in daycare Mon & Tues. The rest of the week I get to spend with him. So he gets the mommy time he needs as well as the school like setting of his daycare.

A mixture of all of the above. I love my job, but I also need to pay my bills. Temporarily stuck where I am by choice.

it pays the bills. i like the people i work with but dislike the company BS and yes i'm stuck where i an at due to a thing called "as business needs dictate" which basically lets the company do whatever it likes.
